Feral Research
Observation under collapse
A knowledge base on animals living in abandoned and disaster-altered landscapes. Field records, sightings and habitat notes structured so that patterns survive the mess of raw observation.
Concept · Branding · Creative technology
TAIFUNOME is a studio practice built around a single motion: entering the storm of information, selecting what carries meaning, and bringing it back out as something that can be seen. Research, analysis, generation and expression are treated as one continuous act — not four departments.
There is a second way to read this page.
What it is
台風の目 — the eye of the typhoon. The one place inside a storm where the air is still and you can see. Every project here follows the same shape: go into the noise on purpose, find the point of clarity, then climb back out with the structure intact.
The work spans wildlife and disaster ecology fieldwork, an image-generation prompt library maintained as a knowledge base, and the platform that connects them. Different subjects, one method.
Three domains
Feral Research
A knowledge base on animals living in abandoned and disaster-altered landscapes. Field records, sightings and habitat notes structured so that patterns survive the mess of raw observation.
Prompt Library
Image-generation prompts managed at the level of individual words — compared across models, tagged, and curated so that a result can be explained rather than rerolled.
Platform
The engine that ingests, indexes and surfaces the two above. Public surface and private pipeline are deliberately separated — what gets shown is a decision, not a leftover.
How the work is made
Collect wide and without filtering. Sources stay immutable; nothing is edited at the point of capture.
A human and a model read the same material and disagree usefully. What survives both is kept.
Selected material is linked, not filed. The relationships carry as much information as the items.
The result is designed to be understood at a glance and defended in detail.
